As we all know there are many wonderful Christmas movies out there. If you were born in the 80’s, there are some that are near and dear to your heart. Christmas is such a magical, cozy time of year. It’s the best time to turn off all lights, cuddle up in your pajamas under a heated blanket with a cup of hot cocoa (or heated water mixed with my vegan, gluten free chocolate protein powder and stevia 😂) and watch Christmas movies by Christmas lights twinkling off the tree and the warmth off the fireplace. You have to find delights but still be healthy and it tastes the same as hot cocoa!

My absolute favorite movie comes from one of the best times of my life. It was after my parents divorced and found my now step-parents. They both are gifts from God. My life was finally stable again and this movie was very popular at that time and I was finally able to know what Christmas Spirit truly was. It has many puns from the show Tool Time and is a classic. If you haven’t seen this movie, it’s a great family night movie.

You can purchase this DVD for less that $3 at the hyperlink below:

Another movie that is hilarious includes the comedian Will Farrell in The Elf. This movie will have you falling out of your chair and still family friendly. We have to watch this one at least once a year. It’s about a child raised with elves and he goes to NYC to meet his biological father, but believes he is still an elf…even over 6 foot tall.

This one be purchased for around $12 in the link here: Elf : Widescreen Edition

The Preachers Wife is also a great classic featuring Whitney Houston and Denzel Washington…what a great combination! This is a feel good spiritual Christmas movie. It’s precious. I am actually going to buy this one again since I have misplaced it since moving. A Christmas is not a Christmas without watching this one.

Jim Carey’s The Grinch is a classic my 3 year old son wants to watch in July. Yes, its that cute of a movie. We could watch this one daily. It’s a movie that was ahead of its time and is a great one with Jim Carey and the graphics. The original Grinch That Stole Christmas is a classic; as well as, Christmas in Handcuffs, you can get the ABC Family Christmas Collection below, which is the best value for your money.

As you can tell, Christmas is my favorite Holiday. The twinkling lights just seem to brighten the atmosphere. The reason for the season helps lighten the mood and remind us of another year passing by. I hope you all enjoy these movies as much as we do. They bring back wonderful memories for me. Happy Holidays!
